Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use the United States pages of this site.
Version 1.0 · Effective
About these terms
These terms apply to the United States pages of this website, operated by Umair Manzoor PC, a CPA firm licensed by the Montana Board of Public Accountants. Umair Manzoor is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Montana. By using these pages you accept these terms.
Information, not advice
The content on this site is general information. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. Tax rules change, and a page may not show the latest rules. Speak to an advisor before acting on anything you read here.
When a client relationship begins
Using this site, or contacting us by email, phone or WhatsApp, does not make you a client. A client relationship begins only when an engagement letter setting out the scope of the work has been signed by you and by Umair Manzoor PC.
Please do not send tax documents or other confidential information until an engagement is in place.
No guaranteed outcome
Nothing on this site promises a particular result, refund, saving or outcome with a tax authority. The site is written so that nothing on it is false, misleading or deceptive, the standard that the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct (advertising and other forms of solicitation, 1.600) and the rules of the Montana Board of Public Accountants set for accountants’ advertising.
Separate entities
Umair Manzoor PC, UM Tax and Accounting Inc. and Umair Manzoor & Co. Chartered Accountants are separate entities. Each is responsible only for its own work.
These terms apply only to Umair Manzoor PC.
Intellectual property
The text, design, logo and images on this site belong to Umair Manzoor PC or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not copy, republish or sell them without our written permission.
Links to and from this site
You may link to any page of this site, as long as the link does not suggest that we endorse you or your content, and the page is not shown inside a frame on another site.
Where this site links to another website, such as a tax authority’s page, we do not control that website and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana.
