Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use the Pakistan pages of this website.
Version 1.0 · Effective
About these terms
These terms apply to the Pakistan pages of this website, run by Umair Manzoor & Co. Chartered Accountants, Office 205, Shayan Iconic Tower, Shaheed-e-Millat Rd, Karachi. By using these pages you accept these terms.
Information, not advice
The content on this site is general information. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. Tax rules change often, so ask us before acting on anything you read here.
When we act for you
Using this site, emailing us, calling us or messaging us does not make you a client. We act for you only once an engagement letter has been signed by you and by the firm, and our work is then governed by that letter.
No guarantee of outcome
No outcome is guaranteed, whether with the FBR, a provincial revenue authority, the SECP or anyone else. The decision rests with the authority.
Separate entities
Umair Manzoor PC, UM Tax and Accounting Inc. and Umair Manzoor & Co. Chartered Accountants are separate entities. Each is responsible only for its own work.
The Pakistan pages of this site are the firm’s. The firm is not responsible for the work of the other two entities, and they are not responsible for its work.
Copyright and trade marks
The text, design and images on these pages, and the UM mark, are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may print or save a page for your own use. You may not copy, republish or sell the content without our written permission.
Linking to this site
You may link to any page on this site. Do not show our pages inside a frame on another site, and do not suggest that the firm endorses you or your site unless we have agreed in writing.
Other websites
Where we link to another website, such as the FBR or the SECP, we do so for your convenience. We are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms apply to that service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
